Prof. Dr. G. G. Gangadharan
The renowned Ayurvedacharya Professor Dr. G. G. Gangadharan is the head of RISA. Dr. G. G. is an expert in authentic Ayurveda methods of treatment and diagnoses, especially pulse diagnosis. He is proficient in treating lifestyle disorders and chronic ailments including osteoarthritis, diabetes, irritable bowel syndrome, substance addictions, infertility, stroke, cardiovascular ailments, cancer, obesity etc. Dr. G. G. has dedicated himself to the propagation of Ayurveda, and to promoting the use of Ayurveda and local health traditions at the grassroots level in both rural and urban India.

RISA’s Herb Garden was started in 2016 to ensure undisrupted access to medicinal plants for RISA’s in-house preparation of medicine. Spread over half an acre of land in the Ramaiah Campus, the herb garden houses a total of 108 plants. A dedicated garden team have nurtured the garden to its current flourishing state, and continue to add more plants to it every month.
