A post graduate in Ayurveda (Rasasastra and Baishajya Kalpana), Dr. Vidya has, over 15 years of clinical experience in treating neuromuscular skeletal disorders, skin diseases, respiratory disorders and metabolic diseases. Patients under her care have had quick recovery and better outcomes. She has provided good management protocols for gastrointestinal disorders, which includes dietary regimes along with life style changes. She has wide teaching experience prior to joining Ramaiah Ayurveda. She has also worked in a Primary Heath Centre, Tumkur district. She has participated in a number of seminars and presented papers and has a couple of publications to her credit.
At Ramaiah, she coordinated a certificate program for Panchakarma therapists recognised by the National Institute of Open Schooling under the aegis of Ministry of Education, Govt of India. Two batches of therapists passed out under the program. She is the nodal person for skill-based training for Panchkarma therapists under the Healthcare Sector Skill Council of the National Skill Development Corporation planned to be implemented at RISA.
Presently she is in currently charge of the Ramaiah Ayurveda clinic located at Badrappa Layout, Hebbal.
