Spiritual Foundations of Ayurveda

The video gets into the core of human existence – The creation of life.  It explains how the spiritual understandings from India are in concurrence with the modern science and how our Vedas in their most nuanced way explain the finer aspects of creation. It opens up our minds to the structure of the cosmos and how everything that is present in nature is a part of the human body as well.

While ear, skin, eyes, tongue and nose are the five Jnaanendriyas (sense organs), the Karmendriyas (organs of action) include speech, hands, legs, anus and genitals and it explains how Ayurveda has the deepest understanding of human psyche, mental and physical health.

Ayurveda doesn’t just treat the symptoms but gets into the root of the problem and manages it holistically.

Ayurveda – Medicine for the New Millenium

Ayurveda, the knowledge of life & longevity is the oldest existing body of knowledge in the healing process. For thousands of years, it has been a way of life in India. This video is a part of the series which helps acquaint the users with this ancient system of medicine that we can call our own.

The video talks about how important it is to look within to improve one’s health and in turn the quality of life. It sheds light on how Ayurveda takes a natural course to fix the imbalances in the body. The video aims to spread better awareness about the scientific aspects of this science and shows how Ayurveda holds a better place than other forms of medicine.
